For 40 years I’ve worked in the visual arts as a branding designer, typographer, art director and photographer. The last fifteen years have seen me mainly behind a camera and planning settings and ideas.  Low light, performance and art photography have been my main enthusiasms of recent years, working with a number of inspirational artists along the way.

I have my father to thank for my early interest in photography. As an Army Air Corps pilot and keen photographer his portrayal of WWII army flying is in the Imperial War Museum today. Childhood years were spent with him exploring black and white film and that magic is not lost for me in the digital arena, where the understanding of hand developing craft still forms part of my method and thinking in post production.
